Custom Collectible Chase – Part 1 – Macho Man Randy Savage

As we have seen many wrestling characters that has worked for WWE officially released in plastic form by Jakks, we think of one man who hasn’t. As a matter of fact, we are still yet to see a complete list of Classic Superstars.

Macho Man Randy Savage is one of those I believe Jakks hasn’t been able to sign. Or else we would have him in our wrestling rings long time ago.

I have created a very familiar looking Macho Man in a gimmick he plays face. His hairdo is one of which is the most difficult but the proudest part for me as it is what I wanted it to look like. The kneepads are one of those changes I’ve made to Macho. I taped some very thin elastic tapings around a regular Deluxe figure kneepad to produce the desired yellow. Initially I thought of painting, but painting on the original kneepad will cause a sticky feel and when touched, it may cause your finger prints to be left on it. I hate all that sticky feeling, as the paint itself sticks onto the figure surface and stays with the figure overtime. Rubber and paint just doesn’t work together. I’ve also added in Macho Man’s famous entrance attire, his famous eye-catchy attire which looks half robe half cape with a shiny blue which I wasn’t sure what the attire should be called.

Look no where now, as I give you the Macho Man!
